Just across from the old ferry port in Kyle of Lochalsh, at the landing point in Kyleakin sits the old Caistel Maol (or Castle Moil).
It is a very picturesque old ruin and forms part of an idyllic view of the highlands and islands of Scotland.
A must see for anyone visiting the area! Sadly, as a result of the construction of the Skye Bridge, many visitors to Skye now speed past this solemn ruin without so much as a fleeting glance.
