Photographed along the shore of St. Joseph Lake at the University of Notre Dame.
Shot with a Mamiya RB67 using a Mamiya Sekor 90mm lens on Kodak T-Max 100. I used a blue 80A filter to enhance the contrast of the stamen (yellow) to the flower pedals (purple) as well as to knock down the intensity of the background. Developed in Kodak HC-110 and scanned on an Epson V750 using Silverfast. I set the exposure using a Sekonic 758DR and spot meetering a shaded pedal. I then added .5 stop for the belows extension.

It is not for self-reward or self-gratification that I do the things I do....
I do the things I do because I love, I feel, I care.

Was in New York over spring break. This particular shot was taken from Top of the Rock at sunset. Quite scary at first being up so high and all.. especially with some wind kicking in..
More to come!
