My cat Stevie processed in high contrast B&W. I wanted to see how the macro performed and with a little sharpening it came out well. I was just playing around when I took this shot but I kind of like how I cut half her face off. She is quite the moody, playful little kitty.
Processed in Adobe Photoshop CS4 to convert to B&W, adjust contrast, and sharpen.

This is a photo of our friend Suzan's dog Madison. We kept her for a little while some time ago and I'm just getting around to posting the photos. I decided to do it in 1:1 aspect ratio (square format) and B&W. I like it like this.
Edited in Photoshop CS4 for crop, levels, and B&W conversion.

Finally I got it! My gorgeous Yashica-Mat, twin lens reflex camera. It is about 45 to 50 years old, but look at it! Isn't that beautiful?
There is something magical about shooting a film, light energy refracts, going through the lens, reacting with some chemicals to freeze that moment.
